		<description>Akshay,

Having raiseed money from VCs in my previous lives, and now investing in businesses, here are some thoughts on what it takes to raise capital for your company.

1. Market opportunity - Your product/service needs to target a large market opportunity.
2. Innovation - Your idea needs to have some innovation that gives you a sustainable unfair advantage over the competition. Innovation could include (but not restricted to) technology, business model, process, scale etc.
3. Team - does the team have the core competencies to execute? What is the chemistry within the team? How easy would they be to work with?
5 Distribution/Go to market: What is the go to market strategy? How do you plan to generate revenue?

Happy to expand more on these if you&#039;d like.
